To all our highly valued clients and acquaintances:
In this month's issue of "Taking Yourself to the Next Level", we are in the traditional "vacation's over, back-to-school, back-to-work, winter's coming, time-to-get-serious again" mode. It's still August and "last hurrah" time for final vacation breaks before we quickly turn the corner on Labor Day Weekend and go full blast into our fall schedules.
Many of you have spoken with us about both the need to get more focused (or re-focused?) as you seek to finish 2007 strong and begin prepping for a solid 2008 launch.
Time to make a quick visit back to your written goals for 2007? (you do have those, yes?) A quick inventory of where you are and what you yet got to do, get to do, and want to do to have a year fulfilled, yes? You may want to answer the following question in writing:
Before the end of this year, what one goal must you achieve with excellence –
or nothing else you achieve will really matter?
What is most important to you right now, personally? professionally? What is your most compelling “yes”, that you really want to make sure you get done, no matter what? What other objectives may need to be moved to a written “not-to-do” list until further notice?
We highly encourage you to invest definitive time over this 3 day holiday weekend to clearly determine your first-things-first, primary, year-end focus – no kidding around.
Now’s the time to insure that a smattering of “good” doesn’t stop you from the “Great”.
As you envision how you want to complete your year and wake up on New Years, 2008, we encourage you to stand your ground with indisputable determination to see it through and push it over the proverbial top. We also think it makes for happier, year-end holidays.
Sooooo, for the balance of 2007, what is “Your Most Important Goal”?
Always looking to serve you with productive and revenue generating ideas.
Happy Labor Day Weekend to you and those you most love. Til the next time, I am
Enthusiastically yours,

Coach Don
