To all our highly valued clients and acquaintances:
Get and take all the help you can get
I want to re-iterate and freshly advocate getting and taking all the help you can get.
In this extremely fast-changing, turbulent economic environment of which we are all a part, and most everybody I know is being seriously challenged by, quality support can make a huge difference for you and those you most care about. What can you do about it?
Here are some suggestions for your consideration or maybe even as a gentle reminder:
#1) First of all and simply stated – get in the habit of reading professional, mental protein at least 30 – 60 minutes per day, period. Schedule it or it won’t happen - that true or not?
All readers may not be leaders but all leaders are readers – if you are excited and committed to being the best as you can possibly be in your life and at your work, read. If you don’t like who you are and what you are doing, read for that. Not to read is virtually the equivalent of not being able to read – why not access all this is possible from the current collective wisdom of humanity and creatively make it work powerfully for you?
#2) In a similar vein, pay attention to who and what you listen to. We become what we repeatedly think about and hear. In addition to “Drive Time University” (aka audio programs in your car), we also need to be vigilant about who we hang around with and what we talk about. As many have said before, we become our reference groups and we are a reflection of our friends and associates – and they become you. So choose wisely.
#3) Mentors, coaches, peer groups, webinars, conference calls, workshops, seminars, etc.
As I continue to study successful people’s lives and work in the world at large, I continue to get indisputably impressed how any great achievements and fulfilling lives are always fully surrounded and deeply immersed in an ocean of unbelievable support. Never a dull moment. Turned on. Grateful. Determined. Clear about priorities. Living life, full out.
Make sure you create and get your version. We consider your life too precious, as well as the challenges and the opportunities too great, not to go after life full tilt and all out.
