To all our highly valued clients and acquaintances:
Trust your Thanksgiving holiday weekend was meaningful and worthy.
We are now fast approaching December and on a quick wrap up to year end. Some brief ideas from here.
On referrals:
Throughout the Holiday Season, as many of our valued clients are with so many other people that they know well, it is often a great time to freshly cue your better clients to listen for opportunities to introduce you. Many times, in conversation, their family members, friends and professional colleagues may talk about the economy, market conditions and what they feel they achieved, or didn’t achieve, throughout the course of the year. Goals and hopes for the new year often start to get discussed.
If your clients hear anything that starts to sounds like wonder, curiosity or frustration that there must be a better way to get a healthier handle on their financial life and a better way to receive professional support/service, you can encourage your clients to share the truth of their experience with you as a Trusted Financial Advisor. For example, your levels of sincere professional care, your prompt responsiveness and your thorough service.
You can let your better clients know that, given how much you value them, you are available to have complimentary exploratory meetings to help better understand their relative, friend or colleague. On that basis, you will confidentially and courteously be happy offer any professional perspective that might be in their best interest to consider.
How to say all that in simple terms? Maybe you can try something like this?
Given how much I appreciate our relationship, you may be with others over the Holiday Season who you think might value another confidential, professional perspective about their financial plans. If that is the case, let me know how I can best reach them and I will be happy to follow up and make myself available for a helpful exploratory meeting.
